The North Cornish Coast
We are incredibly lucky here in North Cornwall that we are surrounded by beautiful, wave-eroded cliffs punctuated by sandy coves and picturesque harbours.
Recommended Beaches
Trebarwith Strand
Located on the way to Tintagel, it’s close to Highermead House (approximately 5 miles)
Bossiness Cove
A little further afield (approximately 7 miles) and only recommended for those who are able to climb steps, uneven steps.
Widemouth Bay
On the coast road to Bude, a beautiful beach of 2 halves. One half is rocky and pebbley, the far end is sandy and more sheltered. there is a car park, lifeguards at certain times and a cafe.
Polzeath
A tourist hotspot. Beach car parking, shops, surf school pubs, cafes and restaurants.
Tregardock
Only suitable for some of the fittest walkers. a steep climb and long walk from any form of car parking.
